STEP 2 ? On the Apply Alberta application, you will select Red Deer Polytechnic from the list of available post-secondary institutions.
STEP 3 ? After selecting Red Deer Polytechnic, you will continue the process using our forms. You will select your program and term, pay your application fee, indicate if you are interested in Residence and complete other details for your application.
STEP 4 ? Look for an automated email from Red Deer Polytechnic and log in to TheLoop to review your application status.

STEP 1 ? Review apprenticeship programs and when they are offered at Red Deer Polytechnic
STEP 2 ? You can register for a training period on your MyTradeSecrets account or visit Apprentice Services. You can also call our Apprenticeship Registration line at 403.342.3100 or 888.475.1101.
STEP 3 ? Look for an automated email from Red Deer Polytechnic within 24 hours. This will confirm your registration and provide you with information about Red Deer Polytechnic.
Interested in becoming an apprentice?
Review apprenticeship information provided by Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) with the Government of Alberta. It is important to note that, to become a registered apprentice, you will need to meet the current AIT requirements for the Trade of your choice.
Once you have become an apprentice and are ready to register for Technical Training at Red Deer Polytechnic, complete the three steps detailed above.
