All documents submitted become the property of Red Deer Polytechnic. They are not returned to you.
If you are still in high school or from out of province, please declare your grade 12 courses on the application so RDP can make an initial decision regarding your admission.
If your official transcript is not in English, please provide a translated copy from the Association of Translators and Interpreters Of Alberta.
Applicants to the following program must submit official or in-progress transcripts by March 1, to be considered for admission to the next academic year:
Transcripts submitted after March 1 will determine your position on the waitlist for the above programs.
Applicants with International Transcripts (including Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents)
RDP does not require applicants to submit out-of-country, post-secondary transcripts for admission to RDP programs EXCEPT for applicants from the Philippines. If an applicant wants to request transfer credit for out-of-country post-secondary course work, they must submit official transcripts and course outlines/syllabi of their out-of-country education.
International transcripts may need to be assessed by IQAS (International Qualifications Assessment Services). If so, you might be charged an assessment fee. Go to International Admissions for more information including whether or not your transcript can be assessed by RDP or will require an IQAS assessment.
