University of Calgary Course Conference course in Psychology Selected topics from one or more of the following areas in psychology: behavioural neuroscience, cognition, human factors, learning, motivation, sensation, perception and quantitative methods. Prerequisite: Consent of the Department MAY BE REPEATED FOR CREDIT PSYCHOLINGUISTICS Psycholinguistics is a broad field of research spanning from speech perception to sentence processing to language acquisition to computer modeling. This course will cover the basic processes underlying the acquisition, production and comprehension of spoken and written language. The course also explores the relationship between linguistic concepts and psycholinguistic data including speech pathologies. Prerequisite: PSYC 312
