Although the topic will vary from year to year, this course investigates the conjunction of literature, culture, and social issues, examining historical, social, economic, political, and gender determinants that intersect within individual works. Specific topics may include Literature and Religion. Prerequisite: Full year of 200-level English. Note: This course may be repeated for credit.
