ENGL 361

The radical changes in morals, lifestyles, social attitudes, and political concerns of the early 20th century are reflected in the lives and writings of British prose writers of this period. In addition to examining novels by a variety of writers, we will consider the influence that other artists, philosophers, and politicians had on the literature of this period. Recommended to be followed by ENGL 368. Prerequisite: Full year of 200-level English.
