This course focuses on the role of information technology in an organization and its application to business problems. Techniques for designing, implementing and managing information systems are presented. Topics covered include hardware and software, file management, database organization, networking and telecommunications, systems development and design, flowcharting, system security, backup and recovery, and artificial intelligence. Completion of BADM 210 is recommened or consent of the Donald School of Business.
