This is a study abroad program in China. Students will tour the ancient city of Xi’an and the modern; megacity of Beijing for 19 days to experience Chinese culture and society; and to reflect upon the meanings of globalization from the perspective of a developing society. Prior to departure; students will attend 12 hours of lectures to learn the basic concepts and issues related to the study of culture and globalization.
