ENGL 361

The radical changes in morals; lifestyles; social attitudes; and political concerns of the early 20th century are reflected in the lives and writings of British prose writers of this period. In addition to examining novels by a variety of writers; we will consider the influence that other artists; philosophers; and politicians had on the literature of this period. Recommended to be followed by ENGL 368. Prerequisite: Full year of 200-level English.
