This course focuses on the role of information technology in an organization and its application to business problems. Techniques for designing; implementing and managing information systems are presented. Topics covered include hardware and software; file management; database organization; networking and telecommunications; systems development and design; flowcharting; system security; backup and recovery; and artificial intelligence. Completion of BADM 210 is recommened or consent of the Donald School of Business.
