Explore creative options of printing a plate with a press. Starting with monoprint; the method of painting an image on a plate and printing the resulting image on paper with printing inks; you will be familiarized with a printing press; and further learn to manipulate your plate with engraving methods; such as dry-point and etching on copper. You will be encouraged to experiment by combining the learned techniques of monotype and etching in one print or be free to focus on masterning one of the techniques. Instructor: Eveline Kolijn
