This is a self-directed course covering research skills; together with word processing; spreadsheet and database applications. This course will provide students with an intermediate level of computer literacy. * The course is designed as a self-directed course but a mandatory seminary is required to provide students with support; please register in both the Lecture and Seminar sections of this course. Prerequisites: CMPT 085 or CTS INF 1020; CTS INF 2050 and' CTS INF 2080 or CMPT 071; 072; 083 and 086. Prior Learning recognition; based on a skills appraisal; is available for students with computer skills but application for PLAR must be completed by the Add/Drop date.
